Dr. Sabhyata Gupta - Reputed Gynaeoncologist in India

Dr. Sabhyata Gupta is a reputed gynaecologist who has made significant contributions to women's health in India. She is the first gynaecologist in the country to perform robotic gynaecological surgeries for both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions. Her expertise spans across several areas, including gynaecological oncology, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, colectomy surgery, and hysterostomy.

Dr. Gupta's educational background includes an MBBS from Jammu Medical College in 1987 and an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Government Medical College, Jammu, in 1991. She further expanded her knowledge with a diploma in Advanced Endoscopic Gynae Surgery from the Giessen School of Endoscopic Surgery in Germany in 2007.

In recognition of her exceptional work, Dr. Gupta was also honoured with the Arch of Excellence Award at the All India Achievers' Conference in 2009. Her passion for her work in gynaecology and medical advancement has led her to become a respected member of societies like the Indian Medical Association, the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies of India, the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists, the Indian Menopause Society, the International Gynaecological Cancer Society, and the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology.

Dr. Gupta has worked hard throughout her career to empower women and to provide them with the treatment they need. She is currently the Chairperson of gynaecology at Medanta-The Medicity and has served as a Coordinator and Consultant at Artemis Hospitals in Gurgaon. She has also worked as the unit head and senior consultant at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute in Delhi and as the coordinator at the Clinical Research Committee of FOGSI between 2003 and 2008.

Throughout her career, Dr. Gupta’s goal has been to advance women's health, particularly in the areas of gynaecological cancer and minimally invasive surgery. Her expertise and contributions to gynaecology continue to make her one of the best gynaecologists in India.
